Activities

Association - SPECTO

The Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of CIET is named as “SPECTO”.Under SPECTO many association activities like seminars and Guest Lectures were arranged.

We are organized a lecture on the topic of “EMBEDED SYSTEM IN AUTOMOTIVE” by   Mr.RajKumar Baratam Group Manager,EDU HW Development, Robert Bosch Engg&Business Solutions Ltd, Coimbatore .

We are organized a seminar on “HARNESSING OF RENEWABLE ENERGY”, by Mr.D.Selvaraj, Deputy General Manager, TEDA, Coimbatore .    

 

Department Activities during the academic year 2009-2010

 

  • Our Second year EEE students (2007-2011) visited the central institute of plastic engineering & technology at Mysore and Central power research institute at Bangalore.

  • Our Second year EEE students (2007-2011) visited Mettur power station and they had an over look about the working of Power station.

  • Our Third year EEE students (2007-2011) attended placement Training conducted by Mr.Anilnair during Sixth semester.

  • Every Week we conduct aptitude test to improve the aptitude answering skills of our students to get through the Campus interviews.

  • Our Second year EEE students (2008-2012) attended communication development programme conducted by Mr.Anjesh during fourth semester.

  • Our EEE students presented the papers to various colleges and Won the first & second place.

  • Our EEE students participated in the NSS camp twice the year to nearest villages and to done a social service.

  •  Our EEE students donated the blood and they are maintaining a group of members.

  •  Our Students had undergone implant Training in various industries.

  •  Our student presented a paper in IEEE paper contest and won the first place. 

  • Our students participated in various sports activities both in state level and district level and won various prizes.

  •  Our students also attended various seminars, lecturers conducted by  other colleges.

  •  Our staff members presented a paper in various National conference

  • Our staff member attended various faculty development program during this academic year.
