CIET takes interest in providing ample opportunities and facilities for sports and games activities. The college aims at the holistic development of each student and the sports club activities have an important role in this. The college conducts Annual and Sport Day function every year and prizes were awarded.

Our student Mr.S. Arunkumar of III EEE secured third position in Hammer Throw in the CICAA Athletic meet at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore on 6.8.2009 and 7.8.2009
Our student Mr.R.Bharath of final CSE has been selected to the represent Kabaddi combined team of Anna University Inter zone Kabaddi Tournament at JJ College of Engineering, Trichy from 9.10.2009 to 11.10.2009
Mr.M.Keerikaruppan, Physical Director has been nominated as selection committee member for combined Kabaddi team Anna University Zone-7 Intercollegiate Kabaddi Tournament at Sasurie College of Engineering, Vijayamangalam on 1.9.2009 and 2.9.2009
Our college Physical Director has also been nominated as selection committee member for combined team Anna University Zone-7 Intercollegiate Badminton (Men) Tournament at Karpagam Engineering College, Coimbatore on 9.9.2009 and 10.9.2009
Our student Mr. T. Saravanakumar of final B.Tech IT secured third place in Anna University zone-7 Basketball combined team Inter zone Basketball tournament at Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal from 11.9.2009 to 13.9.2009
Our college Basketball, Volleyball, Football & Kabaddi teams participated in Karunya Evangeline Memorial South India Level Tournament Basketball team entered up to Quarter final round at Karunya University, Coimbatore from 16.9.2009 to 22.9.2009
Our college teams both Boys and Girls participated in Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering Sports (Ties’10) Volleyball team entered the Quarter final round at PSNA College of Engineering, Dindugal from 14.2.10 to 27.2.10
Our college Volleyball team secured Runners in ‘KCT Trophy’ held at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore from 30.7.2010 to 31.7.2010.
